STEP 1 Approach at a right angle, if possible.
STEP 2 Stand up on the pegs.
STEP 3 Just before your front wheel contacts the log, shift your body weight forward and/or tap the front brake to compress the fork.
STEP 4 As the wheel touches the log, rock your body weight backward, tug up on the handlebar, and open the throttle sharply.
STEP 5 Stay on the gas until the rear wheel climbs over the log.
STEP 6 If you get the front wheel over the log but not the rear, either stay on the gas or stop and drag or lift the rear wheel over.
