You’re droning through the Russian steppes, on a road so straight you can see the curvature of the earth. And your wrist is killing you. What to do? With nothing more than a simple rubber band and a pencil or a popsicle stick, relief is on the way!
STEP 1 Place the stick over the throttle grip so that it’s lying on top of your front-brake lever.
STEP 2 Loop one end of the rubber band over the front portion of the stick as shown.
STEP 3 Loop the other end of the rubber band over the rear portion of the stick, pulling it tight. Adjust tension with more wraps as needed.
STEP 4 Twist the throttle to the desired opening.
STEP 5 Holding the throttle in position, push the stick stick/pencil down so it contacts the top of the brake lever, then release your grip.
We won't fully recommend using this, but your wrist will thank you.
